GlancelotΒΆ

Glancelot is our in-house developed dashboard on steroids. It’s responsible for:

  • Dashboard: Bookmarks to all the services an employee needs

  • Service documentation: Index of the Service documentation of all services

  • MCP server: Access to the bookmarks & service documentation for AI assistants

Important

If you’re looking for something, this might be a good starting place.

Note

The deployment, and all documentation for Glancelot can be found in the GitLab Glancelot project.

Glancelot bookmarksΒΆ

The bookmarks aren’t maintained in Glancelot itself, but are defined directly in the (GitLab) projects of the services. This way, the bookmarks are maintained right next to the services they belong to, and Glancelot always shows an up-to-date list of our services.

Access to service documentationΒΆ

Glancelot can access the Service documentation for every GitLab project providing a bookmark. It indexes all Markdown files, so you’ll find the low-level details of every service, without knowing in which GitLab project they’re stored.

AI assistants also rely on it (via the Glancelot MCP) to understand how a service works, is accessed, deployed, configured, operated, or troubleshot.

Glancelot MCPΒΆ

Glancelot also provides an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://glancelot.confirm.ch/mcp, so AI assistants can find bookmarks, and read the project documentation of the services in GitLab.
