Greeting cards

We created custom greeting cards with various greetings on them in the style of a crossword puzzle. You can customize the greeting on the front with a highlighter marker. All the materials (cards, pre-cut inlays, highlighter, and reference sheet) are stored in a box in the office.

You can create an inlay either as Handwritten card, or as Printed card.

Handwritten card

  1. Take one of the precut orange blanco cards in format DIN A5

  2. Write your message

  3. Put the inlay in the card

  4. Hand out over to the recipient

Hint

If no blanco cards are left, you can print new cards by following these steps:

  1. Open the blanco card template in your browser

  2. Print it out on orange paper, and the recommended Print settings

  3. Cut the cards like described in the Cut cards chapter

Printed card

  1. Open the card template in your browser

  2. Write your message in the text field

  3. Print it out on orange paper, and the recommended Print settings

  4. Cut the cards like described in the Cut cards chapter

  5. Put the inlay in the card

  6. Hand out over to the recipient

Cut cards

The nicest results are achieved as follows:

  1. Cut the paper to the DIN A5 format using the cutter machine

  2. Fold it in half to DIN A6

  3. Trim a thin line away from the paper where the short sides come together to create a perfect edge

Note

For the inlay, we used the following material:

  • Ursus Tonzeichenpapier 130 g/qm DIN A4 hellorange

  • Stabilo Textmarker Swing Cool, 1-4mm, pastell korallenrot (EAN 40 06381 55934 8)

The outlay was initially ordered at Printzessin with the following specifications:

  • Faltkarten

  • 4 x A6 Hoch

  • 300 G/M2 Naturpapier
