3. Your accountΒΆ

3.1. Personal accountΒΆ

For our infrastructure, we’re leveraging single sign-on and LDAP wherever possible.

This means you’ll have a single personal user account, which you can use across all the βš™οΈ Services.

Important

Just a heads-up: When logging in, your username is simply your UID (e.g. fbloggs) – no @confirm.ch needed.

The one exception? E-mail & Calendar and contacts. There you’ll need to use your full email address (e.g. fbloggs@confirm.ch) to get in.

3.2. Change your passwordΒΆ

First of all, let’s test out your credentials on your onboarding card, and change your password. To do that, follow these steps:

  1. Browse to the SSO account security

  2. Login with your credentials (UID & password)

  3. Setup the 2-factor authentication

  4. Change your password

Hint

Well known 2-factor authentication apps are Google Authenticator or Duo. Password managers such as Enpass sometime also have 2FA included, so that you don’t need a separate app for it.

Note

If you didn’t get your onboarding card yet, go and punch your coach. That bastard should’ve already given it to you!
