MCP server

The handbook is also available as public, read-only MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, so AI assistants can search and read the handbook on their own.

The MCP server provides the following tools:

search_handbook	Full-text search the handbook, returns the best matching pages
get_page	Returns the full content of a handbook page as Markdown
list_pages	Lists all pages of the handbook with their title and URL

Skills

We convert selected handbook documents into AI / LLM skill files, so we can use them when we leverage AI LLMs to create content.

All generated skill files are published in the skills index. Download the Markdown file of a skill and add it to your favourite AI assistant.

Hint

The skill files are generated automatically during the documentation build. A document opts in by defining a :skill-description: metadata field at the very top of its RST source, and optionally a :skill-name: field to override the skill name.
