Voice and video conferences¶

VoIP conf bridge¶

We’re using Asterisk as our PBX (phone system). If you find yourself in the situation for the need of a phone conference bridge, simply follow these instructions:

Call our main number 044 500 25 05
Press the * (asterisk) key
Enter the PIN 666 and press the # (hash) key

Hint

The * (asterisk) is not announced and a hidden feature.

Jitsi Meet¶

We’re using Jitsi Docker containers to run Jitsi. Jitsi can be used for video conferences and screen sharing.

Hint

You can use the Mattermost integration /jitsi to create new rooms.

Jitsi Recordings¶

Jitsi also allows to record sessions. Just do the following during a meeting:

Press the three dots (...) in the bottom menu
Select Start recording or Stop recording

Jitsi should then send a message with the recording URL to the Meeting Mattermost channel.

The recordings can also be browsed by accessing the Recordings page.

Recordings can only be accessed within our private networks.
