SeafileΒΆ

To synchronise files, we’re using Seafile, a solution similar to Dropbox, but self-hosted, and privacy-aware.

We’re using Seafile mainly for:

  • Marketing material

  • Digital productivity, and workshop material

  • Templates for the back office

  • Accounting documents not related to invoices / bills, such as tax & annaual accounting statements

  • HR documents, such as work contracts, on- & off-boarding documents

  • Sales documents, such as offerings, and contracts

  • Legal documents, such as terms & conditions, tax rulings

Important

Customer invoices, vendor bills, and alike will be imported into our ERP, and will not be stored on Seafile.

Note

The deployment, and all documentation for Seafile can be found in the GitLab Seafile project.

Use SeafileΒΆ

To use Seafile, you’ve 3 options:

  1. Use the web UI (see for link)

  2. Use a sync client (synchronises files with a local directory)

  3. Use a desktop drive client (acts like a network drive)

Note

The link for the web UI can be found in the Dashboard, while the Seafile clients can be downloaded from the official Seafile downloads page.
