Preferences 3. Special Folders Spam & ham ---------- Since we're using `SpamAssassin `_ for our spam filtering, we also configured it to learn from Spam & Ham. You can feed `SpamAssassin `_ emails for Spam & Ham the following way: - Create a new (sub-)mailbox called ``Junk/Learn as Spam`` for Spam - Create a new (sub-)mailbox called ``Junk/Learn as Ham`` for Ham (aka non-Spam) - Copy or move the emails you want to be learned as Spam into the ``Junk/Learn as Spam`` mailbox - Copy the emails you want to be learned as Ham into the ``Junk/Learn as Ham`` mailbox The mail server will scan those mailboxes every 10 minutes and teach `SpamAssassin`_ about the new spam & ham messages. .. important:: The emails will be purged after they've been learned. So don't **move** any important mails into the ``Junk/Learn as Ham`` directory. Instead, make a **copy** of the email into the ``Junk/Learn as Ham`` directory.
